Exposure includes:

  • Full ownership of credit control / credit management function
  • High-value debt recovery (up to £5m monthly ledger exposure)
  • Proactive debt collection and reduction of aged debt
  • Customer credit checking and setting credit limits
  • Cash allocation, bank receipts, and reconciliation (BACs, cheques, card payments)
  • Aged debt reporting and director-level reporting
  • Dispute resolution and query management
  • Legal escalation and preparation of legal documentation
  • Contract review and extraction of financial data
  • Relationship management with key and high-risk customers
  • Process improvement and implementation of credit control procedures

Software knowledge: Sage Line 50, Microsoft Office (Access), Excel (Intermediate–Advanced), Bespoke accounting systems

Qualifications: BTEC HND Business and Finance
