This candidate is an experienced finance professional with over 10 years’ experience across a broad range of accounting roles, with strong expertise in month-end processes, intercompany accounting, and management reporting. AAT Level 4 qualified, with a clear ambition to progress further studies (CIMA) and develop into a senior finance role.
With extensive hands-on experience across Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger, journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and month-end reporting packs, they are particularly strong in intercompany accounting, and multi-entity reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion across group structures.
They are detail focused, consistently delivering accurate financial information in fast-paced, often PE-backed environments. Technically strong across multiple systems, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
Exposure includes:
- Full ownership of AP and AR processes across multiple entities
• Intercompany accounting, recharges, reconciliations, and multi-entity balancing
• Month-end close, journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Management accounts support, reporting packs, and variance analysis
• VAT return preparation and submission
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• Audit support and query resolution
• High-volume transaction environments (invoices, expenses, payments, and reconciliations)
Software knowledge: Xero, Sage Evolution, Sage 500, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Advanced Excel

AAT Level 2–4 (Completed)
BA (Hons) Human Resource Management and Psychology
