This individual is a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR and Recruitment Business Partner with over 10 years’ experience across engineering, manufacturing, defence, technology, logistics and highly regulated environments. They bring a strong blend of strategic HR partnering and hands-on operational experience, with particular strengths across employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, organisational change and performance management.
A trusted and commercially focused HR professional, they are confident partnering with senior leaders, managers and employees to deliver practical people solutions aligned with organisational objectives. They have extensive experience managing complex ER cases, supporting restructures and redundancies, improving HR processes and using workforce data to inform business decisions.
They are highly adaptable and experienced across multi-site, multidisciplinary and international organisations, including corporate and government environments. SC Cleared, with a strong understanding of UK employment legislation, governance and compliance, they offer a broad and versatile HR skill set combined with a pragmatic, approachable and consultative working style.

- HR Business Partnering & advisory — Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, providing commercially focused HR guidance across the full employee lifecycle and supporting organisational objectives
- Employee relations — Managing complex conduct, capability, performance, absence and wellbeing matters, providing guidance to managers and ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes
- Talent acquisition & recruitment — Managing end-to-end recruitment across specialist engineering, technical, digital, manufacturing and corporate functions, including attraction strategies, stakeholder management, direct sourcing and onboarding
- Workforce planning & organisational change — Supporting restructures, redundancies, role changes and workforce planning initiatives, helping organisations manage change effectively and compliantly
- HR policies & process improvement — Reviewing and developing HR policies, improving processes and internal communications, and driving greater consistency and efficiency across HR operations
- Performance management — Coaching and supporting managers through performance processes, helping to build leadership capability and improve employee performance
- HR systems, data & reporting — Producing HR reports and workforce insights, analysing trends and using people data to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning
- Health, safety & wellbeing — Coordinating Occupational Health referrals, supporting accident reporting and investigations, return-to-work plans, risk reviews and employee wellbeing initiatives
- Learning & development — Supporting learning and development initiatives and identifying opportunities to strengthen employee and leadership capability
- Compensation, benefits & payroll — Experience supporting compensation and benefits, payroll coordination and wider employee lifecycle processes
- Stakeholder management — Building effective relationships across multi-site and multidisciplinary teams, including senior leadership, operational managers, employees and external stakeholders
- Regulated environments — Extensive experience working within defence, government, engineering and technology organisations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, governance and internal policies
Software & Systems: HR systems and ATS platforms, HR databases, Microsoft Office, HR reporting and workforce analytics tools
Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 – Human Resources, SC Clearance
