An ACA qualified, practice trained Management Accountant who is seeking their next challenge within industry. They were top 4 trained in Audit and has spent the last 4 years working in industry, mainly within management accounting. They have been managing a small team of 3 which they have really enjoyed and are now looking for a Finance Manager level position within a growing organisation. A very well-presented and driven individual who is very new to the market.
Exposure includes:
- Directed financial control for 10+ international entities, including P&L reviews and board reporting
- Overseeing the month end close cycle and escalating any issues to senior finance.
- Partnered with the FP&A team to provide insights on P&L variances and key revenue drivers.
- Successfully embedded new reporting processes for newly acquired businesses and migrated accounting systems for acquired entities.
- Liaised with group auditors on IFRS 9 and statutory packs, liaised with local foreign external accountants regarding VAT & tax.
- Responsible for debt/interest management and reporting on bank covenants to CEO & CFO.
- Implemented and managed a new AP payments process to streamline group disbursements.
- Led audits for a diverse portfolio including retail, manufacturing and public entities.
Software knowledge: Xero, Sage, Salesforce, advanced Excel
