An enthusiastic and adaptable Accounts Assistant with experience supporting finance and administration functions across both the UK and Brazil. Currently studying towards the ACCA qualification, they have developed practical experience within small  business environments, including bank reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll support, invoice processing and cash forecasting, alongside a solid understanding of day-to-day finance operations. Eager to continue their professional development, they are seeking an Accounts/Finance Assistant position within a larger organisation where they can broaden their accounting knowledge, gain exposure to management accounts and month-end processes, and continue progressing through their ACCA studies. A quick learner with excellent communication skills and confident adapting to new finance systems.

Exposure includes:

  • Bank reconciliations and maintenance of accurate financial records.
  • Finance administration and day-to-day support to busy finance teams.
  • Cash forecasting and assisting with financial reporting activities.
  • Payroll administration and PAYE support.
  • Invoice processing and payment administration.
  • Budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
  • Preparing financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Supporting month-end reporting and maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Producing Excel reports and management information.
  • Financial data analysis and spreadsheet management.
  • Supporting business operations through strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple departments.

Software knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA Student – Completed Applied Knowledge examinations and currently studying Applied Skills level.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – UNIP University, Brazil.
