This individual is an MAAT-qualified Management Accountant with over 5 years’ finance experience gained across the energy, healthcare, engineering, and international sectors. They have a strong grounding in month-end processes, management accounts, VAT, payroll, reconciliations, and financial controls. Accustomed to operating independently, supporting senior stakeholders, and improving financial processes.

- Month-end close, journals, accruals and prepayments
- Management accounts preparation and variance analysis
- Balance sheet, bank and credit card reconciliations
- VAT returns and audit support
- Payroll management across multiple entities
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control
- Fixed asset accounting and depreciation
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Cashflow management and financial controls
- Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting
- Stakeholder liaison and process improvement initiatives
- Sustainability reporting and compliance activities
Software knowledge: Sage 50, Sage Payroll, Xero, NetSuite, Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIF)
Qualifications: AAT Level 4
