Job Title: Office Administrator

Location: Surrey – Office Based (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)

Office Administrator – About the Role

You will be reporting to the Head of People and Talent and will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the office while providing administrative support across HR, Facilities, IT and the wider business.

This is a highly varied position that combines office management, administration and coordination, where you will act as the first point of contact for visitors, support employee onboarding, coordinate contractors and suppliers, whilst ensuring the workplace remains professional, organised and efficient at all times.

 Office Administrator – Responsibilities

  • Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the office, including office supplies, post, couriers, contractors, maintenance and ensuring a professional, well-presented working environment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and calls, coordinating meetings, catering, travel, events and general office logistics.
  • Provide HR administrative support, including onboarding, offboarding, recruitment administration, maintaining employee records and completing Right to Work and security checks.
  • Support Health & Safety, office compliance, IT coordination and equipment management, liaising with external providers where required.
  • Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team while identifying opportunities to improve office processes and enhance the overall workplace experience.

Office Administrator – Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an Office Administrator, Office Coordinator or Business Support role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and work independently.
  • Proactive, hands-on and confident building relationships across the business.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; previous HR administration, recruitment or facilities experience would be advantageous.
  • Basic IT knowledge is desirable, and a full UK driving licence is essential.
