An ACCA qualified Accountant who has over 10 years’ experience within finance and is now looking for their next challenge. They have solely worked within accountancy firms in their career but is now looking to move into industry. They have worked for a range of firms from top 10 to top 50. Furthermore, they have experience across audit, accounts and financial advisory roles and is very flexible in what their first role within industry entails. A very driven & well-presented individual who has just entered the job market.
Exposure includes:
- Work across a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from software, PE businesses to private sports clubs.
- Led audits from planning to completion for clients, turnover ranging from £5m to £350 mil.
- Liaised with clients on audit timelines, deliverables and accounts preparation.
- Supervised and mentored junior staff, including training sessions and supervisor meetings to improve audit quality.
- Use analytical review and critical thinking to identify trends, risk and opportunities.
- Review accounts preparation assignments and financial statement disclosures.
- Productions of monthly and quarterly management accounts and detailed analysis.
- Provided cash-flow forecasting, strategic EBITDA improvement advise and year-end accounts support.
- Supported during company sale and transformation of the accounts function.
Software knowledge: Xero, Netsuite
Qualifications: ACCA 2025, AAT qualified
