They have developed strong technical accounting knowledge across UK GAAP and IFRS, alongside excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills. They have experience in financial analysis, compliance, and process improvement, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments. Now seeking to transition into a commercial finance role where they can leverage their audit background, business insight, and progressing ACA studies.
Exposure includes:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Financial statement analysis under UK GAAP and IFRS
- Identifying audit risks and performing controls and substantive testing
- Preparation and review of detailed working papers and audit documentation
- Managing multiple client engagements and meeting tight reporting deadlines
- Stakeholder management and client liaison
- Coaching and reviewing work of junior team members
- Financial performance analysis and reporting
- Ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards
- Project management within audit engagements
Software knowledge: Excel, Power BI, Sage
Qualifications:
ACA (ICAEW) – Part Qualified (11/15 exams passed)
AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting
