A graduate in Accountancy and Finance who is currently studying towards the ACCA qualification, with a strong grounding in finance operations and management accounting, who has hands-on experience across month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal preparation within complex, multi-entity environments.
They are currently operating at Finance Manager level, managing the end-to-end finance operations including trial balance review, and process improvement, now keen to move into a more structured, process-driven environment where they can deepen their technical accounting expertise and continue progressing through ACCA.
Exposure includes:
- Full ownership of AP, AR, credit control, and payroll
• Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
• Month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, journals, and reconciliations
• Cashflow forecasting and variance analysis
• VAT return preparation and compliance
• Inventory management and stock control
• Business partnering with project managers and senior stakeholders
• Budget preparation across multiple business units
• KPI reporting and financial analysis
• Foreign exchange reconciliation and reporting
• Process improvement and implementation of financial controls
• Team management, training, and development
Software knowledge: SAP, COGNOS, SYSPRO, Xero, Access Dimensions, Docuware, Paxton, Microsoft Office
