About You
A qualified accountant with treasury management experience gained in a corporate or banking environment. You will be a self-starter and able to effectively prioritise work to meet tight deadlines. They also require an individual who can drive through change and add real tangible value by being an integral part of the Group Tax & Treasury department.
About The Role
Acting as deputy to the Corporate Treasury Manager you will play a key role in the Group Tax and Treasury department. Responsibilities include:
* Assistance with Group Treasury policy & procedures.
* Assistance with FX forecasting & hedging. Educate businesses, link with accounting requirements, understand and manage impact on statutory accounts.
* Assistance with Group cash & liquidity management. Forecast Group cash, working with central accounts and the Group businesses on a global basis. Report daily UK balances and global balances, monthly.
* Assistance with statutory and management reporting. To include reviews of covenant compliance, accounting assistance, assistance with half year and year end reporting cycles.
* Assistance with Group cash investment. Manage investments in accordance with Group policy. Consider and propose investment classes working with relationship and non-relationship providers. Manage Group cash pooling proposals.
* Assistance with bonds and guarantees management.
* Assistance with treasury advice on ad hoc projects.
