About You

You will possess the following:

• UK tax/accounting qualifications (or equivalent overseas) and previous experience required.
• Good working knowledge of ALPHATAX (or similar corporation tax package), Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

Desirable Skills:

Experience : UK Tax experience + ACA/Chartered Tax Adviser

About The Role 

Working as part of a team, assisting with the preparation and submission of all UK Corporation Tax computations to HMRC in a timely manner.

• Assist with responses to HMRC enquiries.
• Preparing/assisting with the preparation of corporate and deferred tax provisions for inclusion in the statutory accounts of UK Group companies.
• Reconcile corporation tax computations submitted to tax provisions.
• Monitor and advise on the wording of the UK statutory accounts, specifically in relation to all tax notes but also to include all other notes likely to have an impact on tax.
• Working as part of a team to ensure that all tax controls adhered to for the purposes of Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Keep abreast of changes in UK tax law through review of appropriate journals, maintenance of contact with external consultants and attending appropriate courses.
