In order to fulfil the role of Audit Accounts Senior you need to be recently qualified ACA or ACCA and have good computer skills. You will possess strong communication skills in order to liaise with clients and other members of your team, and should be used to working in a medium sized firm, reporting to a Senior Manager or Partner. Previous supervisory experience is desirable, but not essential, as is some experience in Solicitors Audit, Charities and Pensions. Enthusiasm for results and accuracy, along with a professional attitude are all vital in fulfilling this challenging role.
* Liaise with clients re personal tax issues such as income tax, CGT and IHT implications
* Prepare self-assessment tax returns with buy to let properties portfolios, company directors, and trading accounts meetings.
* Send letters to clients re outstanding tax, payments on account, interest, penalties, dateline, tax advice etc.
* Liaise with the Inland Revenue via phone, correspondence re client personal tax
* Investigate National insurance, tax credits queries and assistance in filling forms
* Manage tax investigations
* Assist in advising of tax schemes to eligible clients
Our client has two offices; the first in Ascot is easily accessible from the M3 corridor, local main line stations, and locally surrounding areas, the second in Camberley which also benefits from a central location and is easily accessible from Guildford and the A3 corridor. The role will be based between these two offices, and therefore involves some travelling.
Although there is a requirement to work from both offices, they role can be based in the most convenient location for the successful candidate and can also offer flexible working hours.
