A qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with Project or Revenue Accounting experience, strong financial modelling skills, and the ability to drive change. You will need to work effectively with the project team, challenging assumptions, providing support, financial control, reporting and assurance to the project whilst interacting with Senior Delivery, Finance, and Operations managers within the business. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to implement and support robust financial reporting and forecasting models. It also requires a person who will engage in day to day operational activities.
This role directly supports the project team and reports into the Commercial Manager and into the Finance function.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Derivation of overall project financial information from project data to include:
* Review of Project Top Down Sales Forecasts.
* Production of Delivery Review financial slides.
* Support of financial systems including monitoring of backlog, and Working capital forecasting.
• Review, challenge and revision of existing project finance artefacts.
• Refining and improving project finance performance baselines (covering cost, revenue, EVM reporting) and incorporation of these new initiatives into business as usual reporting metrics.
• Drive change across the project team to improve the collation of required information and their understanding of performance measures.
• Providing input into wider company delivery reporting project.
