About You

  • It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be CTA qualified or otherwise qualified (or training towards CTA).
  • You will have a good style in communicating - both on the telephone and in writing.
  • You will have wide technical knowledge and practical experience of issues.
  • It is essential you are a team player, with an enthusiastic and willing attitude.

 

About The Role

Compliance service to clients, principally consisting of Tax Return completion.

 

Duties include:

  • Completing personal tax returns
  • Ensuring necessary claims and elections are made
  • Monitoring time limits and computer administration systems
  • Undertaking tax planning and providing proactive advice to clients
  • Assisting partners in one-off projects
  • Responsibility for billing and preparing budgets
  • Ensuring Smith & Williamson procedures are followed
  • Ensuring HM Revenue & Customs procedures are followed
  • Assisting staff understanding
  • Reviewing returns and computations prepared by junior staff
  • On the job training on a one-to-one basis
  • Dealing with staff questions
  • Reading, internal and external seminars
