Our client is looking for a confident and experienced candidate who combines strong analytical and strategic thinking with solid B2B commercial experience. A role where you will be required to interact extensively with the business, specifically sales and marketing.
Requirements:
* Analytical and strategic thinking. Very strong financial acumen.
* Prior experience in a finance or pricing role highly preferred.
* Prior B2B Commercial experience, ideally in a sales or marketing role.
* Very confident and independent-thinking personality. Comfortable in dealing with conflict and able to build and maintain relationships despite conflicts of interest.
* Good presentation and communication skills
* Able to multitask and able to work under high pressure (e.g. bids / tender situations)
* Capacity to balance both a strategic focus with day-to-day attention to detail with respect to required pricing activities
The key emphasis of the role is to maintain the premium price policy defined at European level towards all the Channels and support the local sales regarding pricing.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Deploy and implement the regional pricing strategy
• Support sales in pricing offers for specific deals, tenders etc
• Decide/approve on deviations from ELP; define NLP with European Pricing Officer; alert sales reps. and management when prices/margins deviate from strategic intentions
• Collects and shares price information of key competitors
• Quarterly price reviews with European Pricing Officer
• Maintain list prices, pricing processes
• Monitor price waterfall and NN price developments regularly – give feed back to Sales and Marketing; propose corrective action
