About You

• A payroll qualification would be of great advantage as would experience of working within a Payroll Bureau
• Wide experience and a deep knowledge of payroll legislation is required
• Ability to write clear letters and deal with all levels of client staff
• Good telephone manner
• Cheerful and pleasant disposition with an ability to get on well with colleagues
• Adaptable and flexible
• Works well and calmly under pressure
• Experience of Excel

About The Role

Our client is a payroll bureau currently running over 270 payrolls a month; this is a newly created role due to an increase in workload. You will be working in a team currently consisting of three full time payroll operators together with two part time and an ancillary part time.

About You

• You will be running a wide assortment of payrolls dealing directly with clients.
• Payrolls are run by one person from start to finish.
• All payrolls are checked by a second person so checking payrolls is also required.
• The software is Star and experience with this would be a help but is not essential.
• Much data comes in on Excel and needs to be worked through
