The successful candidate will either be currently working as a Payroll Supervisor / Manager or have recently assumed all the responsibilities of the role. Due to the number of staff and with growth expected in the next 2 years, you will have conducted both weekly and monthly payment runs for a nationwide company with a minimum staff headcount of 2000. In addition, you will be available to begin on no more than 1 month’s notice and possess strong communication skills.
Reporting into the UK Finance Director, your main objective is to assume responsibility for the day to day running of the Payroll department, managing a team of 4, administering the weekly and monthly payment runs and reports on a periodic basis. Specifically, you will recruit, train, develop, manage and appraise the team, manage the Payroll for 2000 staff across a multi – site location using KV software, process the executive monthly payroll, provide timely reconciliation, submission and payment of statutory requirements including PAYE, NI, SMP, SSP & student loans, production of year end returns including P35, P14 & P60 and transmit BACS payments for salaries.
