Candidates will be qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA, ideally with experience of working in an independent business as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller. Moreover, you will be on no more than a month's notice and be well versed in all areas of statutory accounting, management accounting, ledger management and month / year end Audit assistance. Strong communication skills are required, along with a common sense approach to finance issues and staff management.
The role of part-time Financial Controller is now available for experienced applicants, to oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function: review of the balance sheet; P & L; inter-company accounting; preparation of the management accounts; maintenance of costing system and reconciliation to Sage; planning and management of audit and providing support and assistance to a team of 2 Finance Assistants. In addition, the successful candidate will have a genuine opportunity to provide commercial input to continue to drive the success of the company forward.
