About You

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be:

* ACA qualified accountant or ACCA if trained within an accountancy practice

* Strong technical ability including statutory accounts, group reporting, tax, treasury

* Proven staff management skills

* Experience with Oracle preferred but not essential

* Strong Excel skills including look up's and pivot tables

* Exposure to overseas tax, overseas accounting and foreign currency accounting preferred

About The Role

*  To manage and motivate a team of 20 staff including 6 direct reports covering the areas of Statutory Accounts, Group reporting, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Expenses

* To manage the team and manage changes in a fast moving environment in order to meet all deadlines when they fall due

* To be responsible for ensuring that the team carry out their work to a high standard and that all tasks are carried out

* To monitor and ensure the team are compliant with Europe Africa Sarbanes Oxley requirements

* To ensure compliance with all tax requirements in the UK – including Corporation Tax, VAT, Payroll taxes and PAYE settlement agreements

* To plan, manage and review the preparation of UK and overseas corporation tax computations

* Providing tax support to bid teams and projects as and when required

* To review and prepare commentary for quarter end reporting and statutory accounts for all entities in the EA group

* To manage the year end audit and tax requirements to a very tight timescale

* To be hands on when required in order to deliver the work on time and understand the numbers

* To carry out ad hoc projects as required in a fast changing environment
