Big 4 qualified UK Chartered Accountant (ACA) with first time passes
Would suit newly qualified looking for first move into industry
Experience of group consolidations
Proficient in Excel; Word and PowerPoint an advantage
Knowledge/experience of the consumer products sector would be an advantage
Team player, showing an appreciation for group goals and interactions across departments
Ability to be assertive when required

The central role of the Group Financial Accountant is to be involved in the collation and preparation of reports in order to meet plc’s group statutory and management obligations. This includes the consolidation of budget submissions and preparation of quarterly accounts forecasts for presentation to the Board.
The core area of focus for this role will be the preparation of Interim and Annual Report, Quarterly Forecasts, monthly management accounts through; collation and consolidation of information from business units and departments within Head Office
Presentation of information according to Group accounting policies
In addition this role will encompass a range of project work to include;
Financial analysis and benchmarking within given parameters for business areas
Assessment of the impact of new accounting standards
Provision of technical advice and support to regional finance teams, including contributing to and conducting training presentations
Provision of information to support the Corporate Finance department in relation to potential acquisitions and disposals
Post acquisition support including assistance with the integration of reporting processes
