About You

Due to the level of experience this role requires, candidates will be qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA with proven managerial experience, along with a commercial mindset required to drive the UK business forward, and communication skills to match. Technically, you will have exposure to UK / US GAAP, and be familiar with IFRS accounting standards, and have the necessary knowledge / experience to become a Trustee of the business, requiring pensions administration experience in a current or recent role. Also, gravitas is key to motivate and inspire your colleagues to develop their own skills within your tenure.

About The Role

This role is varied and carries significant responsibilities; in addition to dealing with the UK financial accounting / treasury, the succesful candidate will also manage a progressive finance department of 10, with the opportunity to develop and hone their teams skills and abilities, plus overall management of the finance and IT function. Moreover, the Financial Controller will also become a Trustee of the business in relation to pension and life assurance policy administration and assist with company insurance and legal matters, in addition to the management of the shared service centre.
