About You  

A finalist or Qualified accountant with a proven track record in a commercial environment, providing decision support to a non finance function. You will have strong financial modelling skills and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage. You will have solid analytical skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a fast moving environment. Your commercial approach and communication skills will be key in order to fully support the marketing function and add value within the role.

About The Role 

This role provides the opportunity to make a real impact on the business whilst improving and developing processes. A varied role requiring strong management accounting and analytical skills. Key accountabilities are:

* Providing financial support for the Brand Plans, Marketing Budget and Forecasts

* Supporting the Finance Manager in the production of the 5 year plan and financial outputs

* Producing monthly updates and narrative on spend, analysing and reporting against KPIs and monitoring performance against budgets/targets

* Present brand performance information, update financial elements of Brand Scorecards and monthly tracker for Brand Managers and Trade Marketing Director

* Financial and commercial support to the Marketing Director and Brand Managers

* Financial contact for third party Marketing agencies, including support of contract negotiations

* Support the production of business cases for marketing investment

* Develop and implement tools and techniques to assist prioritisation and allocation of marketing investment

* Identify and recommend ways of optimising marketing investment

* Finance support on all New Product Development

* Conduct post activity reviews and spend evaluation
