You will be an experienced accountant with specific expertise within the insurance industry and the ability to produce timely and accurate financial reports. Ideally with working knowledge of UK and US GAAP, you will be a proactive individual who thrives in an ever changing environment.
* To provide accurate and reliable financial information for consolidation into financial statements according to internal reporting deadlines whilst maintaining the integrity of the accounting records for various clients
* To ensure that all regulatory and statutory deadlines are complied with, levels of accuracy are maintained and, where appropriate, to assist external auditors to ensure that filing deadlines are achieved.
* To assist in drafting UK GAAP statutory financial statements and FSA regulatory returns for review by Client Manager / Director
* To ensure that established internal controls are complied with in order that the Group’s financial assets are safeguarded, including full reconciliation to underlying insurance systems and diligent review of all bank reconciliations.
* To act as a reference point for the interpretation of FSA requirements covering prudential regulation for insurance companies.
