Candidates will be qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA with strong experience in financial reporting covering monthly management accounts and consolidations, plus experience within VAT accounting including company compliance regulations, along with experience of statutory accounts and having managed the accounts function previously or currently. Candidates should also possess strong communication skills and have managed and developed staff in another role.
This is a varied, exciting role covering staff management with reporting and financial accounting responsibilities, specifically the following; assume management of a small accounts function, with emphasis on tight control, staff development and delegation, assist with the preparation of the Annual Plan, forecasts, working closeley with senior management, preparation of high quality draft financial reports covering the group ( monthty management accounts and quarterly consolidation packages ), assist with the company accounting against budget, cash flow management in Treasury, VAT accounting, plus ad hoc duties as and when required.
