It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be a ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant or MBA qualified. You will also be expected to be able to demonstrate considerable experience of working with colleagues at a senior board level.
It is essential that you have strong communication skills and are able to influence other colleagues, as well as a good knowledge of the trend involved in general business management; in order to benefit the organisations future strategic direction. You must be able to demonstrate previous experience of managing projects to tight budgets or deadlines. You will have the confidence and knowledge to engage with or challenge senior colleagues. A strategic and quick thinking mind along with the confidence to follow your initiative and challenge or develop ideas; are key in fulfilling this challenging role.
As the Senior Business/Finance Analyst your main responsibilities will be expected to take responsibility for the smooth running of the Finance & Services Department, working closely with the Director to drive through change and improve service levels and efficiency. The role will involve assembling and leading small teams in projects such as; giving presentations, assembling opinion and generating a shared vision towards completing projects. You will also be expected to take responsibility for ensuring the consistency of accounting treatment across the organisation.
