It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be ACA, or ACCA qualified. You will be expected to be able to demonstrate previous managerial experience in a professional practice or firm, as well as a history of dealing with owner managed limited companies and partnerships, within a large client portfolio. You must possess good communication skills because the role will involve liaising with a variety of well-established clients. Strong people skills are also essential if you are to effectively manage a team of Supervisors and junior staff.
As the Business Advisor Manager you will be expected to take full responsibility for a variety of staff including Supervisors and Junior or Trainee employees. You will also be expected to gain new clients, and maintain and develop your own portfolio of clients in order to make a positive contribution to the development of the firm. You must be able to provide a high level of customer service to existing clientele.
Other duties will include:
* Controlling debtors and work in progress of your designated client portfolio
* Undertaking statutory audit
* Preparing accounts, reports and proposals on behalf of clients
* Ensuring that all accounts preparation within your portfolio meets the relevant legal requirements
* Maintaining regular communication with all clients and related third parties
As the Business Advisory Manager you will also take responsibility for the corporation taxation affairs for your client portfolio
