About You

As the temporary Credit Controller you must be immediately available. You will be an outgoing team player who is also able to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own workload.  You will be expected to be able to demonstrate previous exposure in credit control, and will need to have good excel skills in order to deal with formulas or linking spreadsheets.

About The Role

As the Credit Controller you will assist in the control of outstanding debt, in order to maximise cash flow and minimise bad debts. The role will involve liaising with a variety of client organizations and employee's across the business, and will require you to effectively develop these lines of communication. The Credit Controller will also be expected to identify and become involved in the development of new processes and systems, as well as processing a mechanism for the escalation of unresolved queries and problems.

Main duties will include:

• Collecting and maintaining designated client accounts
• Collecting debts through various recognised methods
• Allocating received cash
• Keeping client details up to date
• Clearing Validation Exception Reports
• Processing and sending monthly/weekly statements and/or electronic billings
• Processing client queries and referring them if unresolved
• Undertaking administration tasks which are essential to the maintenance of the account facility for follow-ups
• Processing company expenditure
• Overseas telephone calls and faxes
• Dealing with complaints
