It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have some proven experience within credit control. You will have dealt with debt issues and be very proactive, and hard working with a professional approach to all aspects of your work. You must have good PC Skills as well as excellent communication skills, since the role will involve liaising with a variety of established clients and staff across the business.
The Credit Controller will be responsible for chasing individual clients and building relationship. You will be expected to collect a certain amount of money each month, once you have achieved your target you will help assist the team to achieve both team and departmental objectives.
* To meet the monthly cash collection targets set - confirming payments by BACS, cheque, direct debit or other methods
* Negotiation with customers to resolve outstanding issues and secure payment of overdue debt.
* Reconciliation of customer statements using MS Excel
