You will be highly technical, numerate and analytical, in particular with a proven ability to unearth and explain inconsistencies or patterns and trends in financial data. Report writing skills will be a clear strength, with the ability to explain and present (written and spoken) the results of complex technical financial transactions and principles. You will have the ability to develop, build and maintain relationships and influence at a high level.
With responsibility for a team, the role of the Corporate Financial Accountant is to provide a complete financial accounting service to the Head Office group of companies, including Plc, the Finance Group and the Dutch structures. This includes the provision of technical accounting support to the Head Office group of companies, liaison with the Group Tax and Treasury functions. The submission of monthly reporting packs on Hyperion for the two main corporate entities is an integral part of this role. In addition you will participate in projects and working parties and carry out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit for the purposes of personal development, or as may be reasonably required. You will also be a key member of the management team of Central Finance and contribute to the wider smooth running of this team.
