About You

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA or MBA qualified. You will be expected to be able to demonstrate previous managerial experience in a professional practice or firm, as well as a strong Corporate Finance background. You must possess good communication skills because the role will involve liaising with a variety of well-established clients and staff across the business. Strong people skills are also essential if you are to effectively manage a team of staff. Previous experience of working with solicitors on purchase and sale contracts, warranties, or helping to negotiate deals, would be advantageous.

About The Role

As the Corporate Finance Manager you will be expected to assist in the development of corporate finance services by strengthening internal procedures, enlarging the firm’s database, and marketing services to potential clients. You will also be expected to assist and support the corporate finance partners by fulfilling engagements, and advising all partners or managers. The role is reporting directly into the Corporate Finance Director and the firm's four corporate finance partners.

You should be keen to develop your career, since it is anticipated that an opportunity of partnership may be available in the medium term if the candidate meets distinct criteria.

The work is principally for private companies, wealthy individuals and the banks and includes:

* Advising on business acquisitions

* Disposals

* Corporate restructuring

* Management buy-outs

* Carrying out due diligence reports to purchasers for prospective acquisitions and to the banks for pre lending reviews.

Due to the varied nature of this role, there will sometimes be a requirement to visit and assist other offices within the firm.
