About You

This is a diverse and hands on role and therefore would suit someone with a proven track record in bookkeeping and ideally you will also have previous experience of working in a firm of accountants.

As well as the experience you will be able to work well in a team but also be happy working on your own initiative. The role will require you to lease with a number of clients and deal with their accounts therefore you will have to manage and prioritise things and be confident in dealing with a number of things at any given time. 

As you will be liaising with a number of people you will need to be confident and have clear and concise communications skills.

About The Role

A key role within the firm working as their Bookkeeper.

You will be liaising with a variety of clients.

The role could be full time or part time and will include:

• All the basic aspects of bookkeeping
• Incomplete records
• VAT
• Accounts preparation
• You may also be required to undertake aspects of management accounts, budgeting, variance analysis and tax therefore experience in this areas would be advantageous.

The vacancy exists because our client is a growing practice and needs additional resource to accommodate that growth and enable them to rebalance their team members’ responsibilities. They are a general practice, although they are developing specialist expertise in a small number of areas.
