About You

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be part qualified ACA or newly qualified ACA or ACCA. You will expected to be able to demonstrate previous experience of audit work, preferably within an independent or mid tier practice. You should be keen to learn new things and to progress your career. This role would suit anyone looking to gain more complex and varied audit work with a view to progressing within the audit department. You should be confident and outgoing in order to fit in with the department because they are a very social team; and want someone who can add personality as well as professional experience.

 

 

About The Role

As the Audit Senior you will be working on audits of all sizes from Owner Managed Business' to Group audits, and will be working as part of a larger team. Good communication skills are required since the role will involve liaising with a variety of clients and team members. You will deal with a portfolio of clients within a twenty mile radius of Reading;; including a multiplicity of corporate, charity, pension and professional practice clients.

 

Duties will include:

* Managing your own client portfolio

* Dealing with OMB and subsidiaries of listed group clients

* Consolidations

 

Due to the varied nature of the role you will have the opportunity to become involved in due diligence, and as you progress within the role you will learn team audits and supervise a team
