It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified. You will be expected to be able to demonstrate experience of management accounting; preferably in a large commercial environment. You must be immediately available, and capable of taking responsibility for your own areas of work whilst working to tight deadlines. You will be meticulous, organised and possess a strong personality. Experience of using database reporting packages, and supervising other staff as advantageous but not essential
As the Management Accountant you will report into the UK Financial Controller and to the Head of Finance. You will be expected to take responsibility for all aspects relating to the companies management and financial accounts as well as preparing management accounts and statutory accounts for legal entities under the group umbrella. You will work as a key member of the finance team, providing the analysis of business performance to internal users.
The role will also involve the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports to strict deadlines and monthly balance sheet reconciliation's. You will also be expected to provide support on and in a variety of capacities including; monthly board reporting including commentary on variance analysis and preparation of monthly management accounting packs; the bonding and regulatory requirements for travel industry business requirements within the UK and Monthly/ Quarterly VAT return preparations

Due to the varied nature of this role you may also be required to perform other Ad hoc projects within the finance department, as and when required.
