His career rapidly developed and he successfully managed Basingstoke, Woking and the flagship Guildford offices before Accountancy Personnel merged with a national recruitment business. It was at this point that Greg founded Howett Thorpe, which was originally based in Farnborough. Since then the client and candidate base as remained purely within the finance sector – but has grown geographically to reach from Southampton on the coast to the Thames Valley and from Basingstoke to Crawley.
